Downtown Vancouver Waterfront Redevelopment

I love what is going on downtown. I would like to talk about what I see as an exciting new development in Downtown Vancouver. As many of you may know from news reports, the old Boise Cascade Paper Plant between the Port of Vancouver and the Interstate Bridge has been sold and razed. The intention is to build a beautiful, walkable urban community right on the shore of the mightiest river in the west.

Now this idea is not without controversy. Some think the project is too ambitious. Others are worried about access. What about traffic?

Take a look at this link, www.rodsager.com/clark/downtown.htm for some additional info.

The sleepy little river port town of yesteryear is on the verge of becoming a giant. This could be awesome.
